Brisbane is also our base for the rest of Queensland. We keep desks on the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast, and councils across regional Queensland engage us through LocalBuy.
How long have you recruited technology people in Brisbane?
Since 2016, when we founded Digital Native in Brisbane, and for much longer as individuals. Our two directors bring more than 45 years of technology recruitment between them.
Philip O'Malley has over 25 years in the market and is one of Brisbane's most experienced technology recruiters. Aaron Thomas, our founder and Managing Director, has 20 years in technology recruitment and is active in the Brisbane tech community.

We built our reputation with product and SaaS companies, and we still recruit for Brisbane startups, scale-ups and established technology businesses.
Alongside them we work with enterprises and corporates, and with state government departments, government-owned corporations, statutory bodies and councils, for both contract and permanent roles.
Which technology roles do you recruit for in Brisbane?
Software engineering and product development, cloud and DevOps, data and AI, enterprise platforms and solutions architecture, business analysis, project and program delivery, governance, infrastructure and security, through to CTO and Head of Technology.
We fill permanent roles with a minimum three-month replacement guarantee, supply contractors as a licensed Queensland labour hire provider, and run executive searches led personally by our directors.
Can Brisbane government agencies and councils engage you?
Yes. We are an approved supplier on the Queensland Government GGS0060 Temporary and Contracted Workers panel, so departments, government-owned corporations and statutory bodies can engage us through it. Councils can engage us as a LocalBuy pre-qualified supplier, without a separate tender.
We also hold Queensland Labour Hire Licence LHL-00804-D7C3R.
